NEWTOWN BEE 13, DRUG CENTER 7: Joey Devellis, Tucker Kass and Joe Bowen collected two hits apiece to lead the Newtown Bee to the win. Colin O’Connor singled while Scudder Baggett pitched well. Scott Nichols and John O’Brien scored key runs. For Drug Center, Carlos Fuentes had a pair of hits while Rob Simone doubled and Tom Selleck tripled. Billy Spencer and Tommy Gaboriault pitched well.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

CLASSIC DESIGNS OF NEW ENGLAND 10, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 5: Ryan Boucher went 3-3 while Joel Minalgo, Alex Magoulas and Nick Urso all had two hits to lead Classic Designs. James Post had a long double off the center field fence. For the Police, John Nelson led the offense with three hits including a double. Chris Potter pitched well and Graham Moller was strong in the field.

TTS SYSTEMS 7, WELLFLEET FINANCIAL 2: Zack Seamen and Alex Grier provided steady defense while Conor Martin, Danny Giorno and Ryan Pineau led the offense for TTS. For Wellfleet, Joe Greenfield struck out nine batters in three innings of work while Chris Salvator, Ryan Wilson and Adam Nanavaty played well.

WALKER INDUSTRIAL 7, TTS SYSTEMS 4: Allen Hubbard had a pair of hits to lead Walker Industrials to the win. Andy Kirner and Ryan Clark hit the ball hard while Kyle Manion, Sean Ryan and Matt Biscoe were solid in the field. For TTS, Danny Cassidy, Chris Schreiber and Brendon Martin powered the offense. Alex Grier and Collin Martin starred in the field.

WALKER INDUSTRIAL 2, J&J POOL 0: David Rodriguez and Stefan Toi banged out two hits apiece and scored both runs in the first inning to lead Walker. Dan Curtis was strong in the field while Ryan Clark pitched great. For J&J, Michael Maher hit the ball hard as Jared Modzelewski pitched three strong innings, whiffing five batters. Collin Babbage, Matt Kuruc and Tyler Adams had solid games.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

JF WALSH 5, BASE TECHNOLOGY 4: Bret LeBlanc was 2-for-3 to lead Walsh to the win. Nick Saviano and Brian Carroll played well. For BASE, Dan Spencer knocked in a pair of runs while Pete Wlasuk, Dash Jeffries and Hiram Orama had good performances.

JF WALSH 8, KELLOGG’S HARDWOOD 4: James Maher and Paul Murphy banged out two hits apiece to power Walsh to the win. Jamie Walsh pitched well. For Kellogg’s, Dan Quinn, Andrew Meisel and Mackenzie Fuller had two hits apiece. Mickey Fay pitched three solid innings.

SUGAR HILL 7, AUTO BODY 5: Max Muraskiewicz pitched three shutout innings and whiffed seven batters to lead Sugar Hill to the win. Drew Woods, Chris Voight and Jason Kostecki led the offense. For Auto Body, Kurt Nacewicz had a pair of hits while Daniel Spencer and AJ Ritchie played well.

SUGAR HILL 13, BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 7: Max Muraskiewicz was 4-for-4 with a grand slam homer to lead Sugar Hill. Chris Voight pitched three strong innings while Keith Hoffman, Mike Bunger and Ryan Dilworth had great games. For Brautigam, Charlie LoBosco and Tommy Merrifield powered the offense as Robert Brautigam pitched well and Max Rochwarger was solid in the field.

BASE TECHNOLOGIES 4, KELLOGG’S HARDWOOD 3: Kurt Nacewicz was 3-for-3 with a triple and Mike Notaro knocked in the winning run in the seventh inning to lead BASE Technologies. Dan Spencer banged out a pair of hits and scored the winning run. Dash Jeffries pitched well. For Kellogg’s, Michey Fay had a couple of hits and two RBI as Ian Mason, Dan Quinn and Andrew Meisel hit the ball hard. Julian Wahlberg and Cody Kellogg played well in the field.

AAA

LEXINGTON GARDENS 5, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 3: Adam Winick went 4-for-4 and Brandon Ching drove in three runs to lead Lexington Gardens to the win. Ralph Sergiovanni, Adam Shankman, Jamey Tibbetts and Winick combined for 18 strikeouts on the mound. For Hardware, Keith McGrath, Ryan Lasher and Nate Crevier all scored while Adam Mannino was solid on the hill.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 16, GRUCE TILE 8: Brian Grimes, Leo Spinelli and Thomas Saboe led the hitting attack and helped lift Lexington Gardens to the win. Ralph Sergiovanni, Adam Shankman and Brandon Ching scored three runs. For Gruce, Andrew LaMarche drove in a pair of runs while Kyle Kromberg banged out three hits and scored twice. Ryan Ames and Evan Barretto pitched well.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 5, DANBURY HOSPITAL 3: Ralph Sergiovanni, Adam Shankman, Jamey Tibbetts and Adam Winick combined on a two-hitter to lead Lexington to the win. The foursome whiffed 13 batters. Thomas Budd and Dan O’Connor sparked the offense. For Danbury Hospital, Jeff Spencer and George Zaruba scored runs while Kevin Leibold, Harrison Hillis and Joe Christiano were solid in the field.

GRUCE TILE 3, AERCO INTERNATIONAL 2: Kyle Kromberg singled and tripled while Matt Bobkowski knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lead Gruce. Christian Gonzalez scored the game-winner. Anthony Gruce pitched well. For AERCO, Michael Coates, Cole Depuy and Nick Tarantino pitched a solid game while Andrew Buonocore powered the offense. Trevor Todd played well in the field.

MINORS

TRENDSETTERS INTERNATIONAL 7, DR HENRY GELLERT DDS 5: Mike Herring and Derek Krewson each went 3-for-3 with a double to lead Trendsetters. Drew McGrath singled and doubled. Shane Wurtz made 2 nice plays in the field while Kyle Vignone and Christian Gregoire played well. For Gellert, John Fracker led the offense going 3-for-3 while James Cummings had 2 bunt base hits. Drew Robinson made a nice catch with the bases loaded and Mike Ruddy had a good defensive day behind the plate.

TRENDSETTERS INTERNATIONAL 5, LOCKWOOD LODGE 2: Mike Herring, Drew McGrath and Derek Krewson banged out two hits each to lead Trendsetters. Kyle Vignone had a good day in the field while Cody Geanuracos pitch well. For Lockwood, Zachary Dent and Erik Hoffman were the hitting stars. In the field, Stephen Clark and Alex Saviano both had good games while Alex turned in a solid pitching performance.

FIRESIDE INN 8, TRENDSETTERS INTERNATIONAL 3: Brandon Rosenberger and Tim Roberts contributed strong pitching efforts while Patrick Fay played an excellent all-around game to lead Fireside. Sean Muench, Nicholas Dee and Sean LaPak led a solid offense. For Trendsetters, Mike Herring went 2-for-2 with a double and Kyle Vignone had two hits to lead the offense. Derek Krewson and Drew McGrath both made nice plays in the field while Christian Gregoire and Cody Geanuracos turned in nice pitching performances.

BOTSFORD DRIVE IN 4, SAFE AT HOME 3: Brian Reed pitched two strong innings and played a strong third base to lead Botsford to the win. Colby Summerlin, Andrew Oravecz and Kyle McCarthy powered the offense. For Safe at Home, Ryan Schmidt doubled and homered and Sean Devaney singled and doubled to lead the offense. Sean Maher made some fine plays at first while Zach LeMien played well all-around.

BISCOE EXCAVATING 5, SAFE AT HOME 3: Brad Biscoe had a clutch two-out single in the sixth to spark Biscoe to the win. Alex Miller also had a key hit while Ryan Korth and Robert Carroll pitched very well. For Safe at Hoime, Ryan Schmidt singled twice while Bryan Purus, Amar Ahashe and Alex Lansing hit the ball hard. Mitch Udiskey pitched well.

ENTERPRISE ELECTRIC 8, ASSOCIATED REFUSE 4: Austin Bonadio collected three hits to lead Enterprise Electric to the win. Greg Williamson pitched well and Jason Marks shined in the field. For Associated, Brendan McNamara doubled and tripled, Connor Mason pitched well, and Craig Soderholm and Brandon Gonzales played well in the field.

ENTERPRISE ELECTRIC 9, V-TECH SYSTEMS 4: Oliver Powers hit the ball hard while Brian Mendonca and Michael Cascone played well to lead Enterprise. For V-Tech, Connor Blanc and Kyle Wilcox banged out three hits apiece.

ASSOCIATED REFUSE 6, BRYSON M. FILBERT JR. 6: Sean Burson and Robby Uhde pitched well to lead Associated Refuse. Tim Wilder doubled and tripled while David Lucia and Burson banged out two hits apiece. For Filbert, Luke Piazza was solid behind the plate while Adam Wruck hit the ball hard.

V-TECH SYSTEMS 11, HICKEY SEPTIC SERVICE 1: Chris Tenney, Connor Blanc and Louis Fenaroli banged out three hits apiece to power V-Tech. Kevin Moses and Tim Brown (two hits with his new bat) powered Hickey.

LINDIN CONSULTING 10, HICKEY SEPTIC SERVICE 5: Matt Prune and Ian McWilliams powered the Lindin offense while William Arndt whiffed three batters on the hill. For Hickey, Tim Bloom pitched well and made a sparkling defensive play while Jamie Boucher collected a single and two doubles to pace the offense.

TROY SECURITY 4, BOB TENDLER REALTORS 4: Eli Kichler, Mason West and Kevin Phillips played well for Troy while Curtis Droniak (two singles and a double) and Taylor Steimle (two hits) led Tendler.

UNION SAVINGS BANK 6, LINDIN CONSULTING 0: Chris McGowan and Scott Runkle shined in the field to lead Union Savings. Trey Trudell and James Alvarez hit the ball hard. For Lindin, Matt Hoffman and Matt Pruner had two hits each while Greg Campbell and Nick Ryder played well in the field.

UNION SAVINGS BANK 13, SHORELINE CONSTRUCTION 9: Will Miller, Jack McManus, Travis LeBlanc and Ryan Powers anchored the Union Savings Bank effort. Brandon Capaldo pitched well for Shoreline in his debut while Daniel Aurelia whiffed two batters.

UNION SAVINGS BANK 3, BLINDS GUYS 1: Erik Samuelson and Sean Ross pitched well while Greg Pelillo and Chris McGowan hit the ball hard to lead Union Savings.

SHORELINE CONSTRUCTION 8, FAMILY HEALTH CARE 5: Trevor Carey hit the ball well for Shoreline and Connor Byrne pitched well in his debut. For FHC, Riley Wurtz was 3-for-4 at the plate and pitched well while Kevin Morrissey was solid in the field with an unassisted double play.

FAMILY HEALTH CARE 5, BOB TENDLER REALTORS 2: John Imbimbo had a hit and made two sparkling defensive plays to lead FHC. John Mathews also had a hit. For Tendler, Richard Sandler pitched well and Danny Fisher anchored the defense.

BRYSON M. FILBERT JR. 8, BLINDS GUYS 7: Michael Reyen played great defense and Jimmy Mooney hit the ball hard to lead Filbert to the win.

ROOKIES

MONA LISA versus WILLIAM PITT REAL ESTATE: Gary Braun, Nicholas Greene, Sean Elliott, and Patrick Milano powered Mona Lisa while Kevin Sphunt, Kyle Morriessey, Alex Lockhart, and Kurt Daum anchored William Pitt.

B&K SEPTIC versus MONA LISA: Cody Jones, Jake Buonocore, Chris Erikson and Stefan Hennessey played well for B&K while Shawn Chowdhury, Jay Destories, John Tolson and Chris Robinson played well for Mona Lisa.

MONA LISA versus BASE TECHNOLOGIES: Gary Braun, Nicholas Greene, Jack Brotherton and Patrick Milano led the way for Mona Lisa as Mitch Russo, David Cartisano, Wyatt Depuy and Matt Spencer paced BASE.

B&K SEPTIC versus CURTIS & CRANDON: Dylan O’Connor, Brian LeBlanc, Kevin LeBlanc and Brian Krugar powered B&K.
