Ciaccia Elected As

Botsford Fire Chief

In its recent annual election of officers, the United Fire Company Of Botsford named Wayne Ciaccia as its new fire chief.

Chief Ciaccia and the six other firefighting officers are newly elected to their posts. 

Also elected on June 7 were: First Assistant Chief Jay Nezvesky; Second Assistant Chief Chris Sadler; Captain Gavin Arneth; Chief Engineer Rick Prasauckas; First Assistant Engineer Ben Nagy; and Second Assistant Engineer Pete Blomberg.

The fire company also elected organizational officers for the unit.

Company members elected Jay Nezvesky to his eighth consecutive term as president. They elected Gavin Arneth to his second term as vice president. Company members elected Gordon Thompson to his eleventh consecutive terms as secretary.

Newly elected to organizational posts were: Maritza Nezvesky, financial secretary; Cindy Ciaccia, treasurer; Cathy Hydeck, steward;  and Maritza Nezvesky, trustee.

Elected to his second term as quartermaster was Ben Nagy.
