Police Seek Owners Of Found Property

The police department’s supervisor of found property, Sergeant Douglas Wisentaner, is seeking to find the owners of various found property that police are holding for safekeeping.

Among the items in the found goods inventory are:

*A Makita-brand cordless driver/drill that was found on April 25 on Boggs Hill Road, near its intersections with Valley View Road and Head O’ Meadow Road.

*A Next-brand child’s bicycle that was found on April 9 on Phyllis Lane.

*A pair of eyeglasses with black frames, found April 7 in the parking area for the Bank of America at 6 Queen Street.

*An Apple-brand Nano model of the iPod digital media player that was found last December 25 in front of Newtown Youth Academy at Fairfield Hills.

The owners of those items may claim them by contacting Sgt Wisentaner at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 203-426-5841.
