Sarah Cassidy Evans to Boris Igor Karasch

John and Dorothy Evans of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Cassidy Evans, to Boris Igor Karasch of Berlin, Germany. Mr Karasch is the son of Roger Heinrich Wilhelm Karasch and Karin Irmgard, born Woinke, both of Berlin, Germany.

Ms Evans graduated from Brookfield High School with the Class of 1991, and from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, St Louis, Mo., with a BFA in Technical Theatre. She is currently employed by The Bee Publishing Company and the Bethel Library.

Mr Karasch attended Goethe Gymnasium Berlin-Wilmersdorf, where he graduated with an Abitur in 1989. He received a diploma in law in 2000 from the Freie Universität (Free University), Berlin, Law School, and from FernUniversität, Hagen, Graduate School for Arts Management, where he will receive a diploma in spring 2004.

He is employed by Freie Universität Berlin Law School, Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, as a university lecturer.

The couple will wed in spring 2004.
