SOUTHBURY â William Pitt Sothebyâs International Realty announces the addition of Tom Greto to its Southbury office.
Mr Greto first moved into the area in 1985, when he purchased a house in Newtown to enjoy on weekends away from his New York City residence. In 1993 he moved here full-time while commuting to the city a few days a week. His knowledge of Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven Counties will be an asset to those new to Connecticut, as well as those looking to upgrade or downsize while staying within the area.
Mr Greto joins William Pitt Sothebyâs as a new agent following a 25-year career in broadcast production. There he created soundtracks for TV, radio, and films, as well as albums for recording artists.
Working alongside New Yorkâs brightest talent and top advertising agencies gave him the experience to develop his unique approach to virtual tours: he presents his clients properties by creating customized narrated commercials and hosting them on the web for round-the-clock viewing with links from Realtor.com, MLS, and the William Pitt SIR website.
âMy innovative service allows the seller to make a great first impression and still lead a normal life,â says Mr Greto. âThese online real estate commercials are produced free of charge to clients who list their homes with me at William Pitt Sothebyâs in Southbury.â
Mr Greto belongs to the National, Connecticut and Northern Fairfield County Associations of Realtors. Additionally, he is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
His respect for nature and love of the outdoors are reflected by his membership in the National Resources Defense Council, the Audubon Society, and the Nature Conservancy. He is also a member of Glyndwr Welsh Terrier Club and volunteers with Canine Advocates of Newtown.
The Southbury office of William Pitt Sothebyâs International Realty is at 101 Playhouse Corner; telephone 264-4044.
