The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library will be featuring a large variety of fun ways to keep busy at their booth at the Newtown Farmers Market on Tuesday, August 4, from 2 to 6:30 pm, at Fairfield Hills. There will be craft and activity books for both adults and children, in addition to plenty of reading material — from popular adult fiction like mysteries, romance, and sci-fi to a selection of children’s books. According to Friends volunteer Toni Earnshaw, “Jigsaw puzzles have been an especially big seller at the Farmers Market, so there will be a great selection of puzzles for every age and every desired level of challenge.” Proceeds from the sale benefit the C.H. Booth Library.
