Children’s Adventure Center Participates In Federal Child/Adult Care Food Program

The Children’s Adventure Center in Sandy Hook announces that it is participating in the federally funded Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Under this program, nutritious meals and/or snacks are provided at no separate charge to all enrolled participants.

In accordance with federal law and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy, discrimination is prohibited in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, origin, sex, age or disability. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs). Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication of program information (Braille, large print, audio etc.) should contact USDA’s TARGET Center at (202) 720-2600.

For specific information regarding income guidelines used in Connecticut, effective July 1, 2004 to June 30,2005, for determining eligibility of participants for free and reduced price meals in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, contact USDA at (202) 720-5964.
