Allyson M. Hopkins and Ryan J. Story
Allyson M. Hopkins, daughter of Ellen and Curt Hopkins, Sandy Hook, and Ryan J. Story, Newtown, son of Claudia Story and the late James Story of Cohasset, Mass., announce their engagement.
Ms Hopkins is a 1998 graduate of Newtown High School and received her bachelor of arts in psychology and education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2002. In 2005, she received her master of science in education from Western Connecticut State University. She is presently employed by Wilton Public Schools as a third grade teacher.
Mr Story graduated from Cohasset (Mass.) High School in 1999 and from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2003 with a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management. He is a trade show associate for Prudential Financial.
A July 2, 2006, wedding is planned.
