Andrew S. Rajcok

Andrew S. Rajcok died July 28 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Danbury, and he resided in Newtown for most of his life.

Mr Rajcok was father to Katrina DeVona of Plantsville. His surviving grandchildren are Kiah DeVona and Christopher DeVona, also of Plantsville. His daughter, Francesca Rajcok, predeceased him.

As an actor, writer, and performer in radio and television, he was known as Andy Rage. He was a member of Actors Equity Association, American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, the Dramatists Guild, and Mensa. He had been director of advertising for the Long Island Radio Network and WICC/WPIX, Connecticut and New York.

Many will remember Andy Rage in community theater, to which he contributed many summer performances. He appeared professionally at Long Wharf Theatre and Connecticut Stage, Darien, among others.

The funeral was held August 2 at Hull Funeral Home, Danbury. Interment followed at the family plot, in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
