Plans Withdrawn For
Sand Hill Plaza Expansion
The applicant for an expansion project at Sand Hill Plaza has withdrawn its
request.
R2D Corp. of Hartford plans to submit a revised application which meets
Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) criteria for special exceptions to the
zoning regulations.
On September 27, the firm withdrew its plan for a 6,000-square-foot free
standing retail building which would be built on the plaza's parking lot east
of General Nutrition Center and south of the plaza's mini-mall.
At an August 21 P&Z meeting, P&Z members told the applicant that insufficient
information had been submitted with the application for it to be reviewed by
the members.
Information missing included architectural elevation drawings and a rendering
of the proposed building.
