Newtown VFW Post 308 will host a special concert by Midnight Rodeo on Saturday, August 22. The performance will begin at 6 pm, in the outdoor pavilion at 18 Freedom Defenders Way.

Midnight Rodeo is a Connecticut-based country music cover band. Members Erika Howard (lead female vocals), Mark Rudzinski (drums), Nick Defala (bass), Paul Tomassetti (lead male vocals), Roger Maude (lead and rhythm guitar) and Tucker James Callander (fiddle) play current songs by artists like Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks, Sara Evans, Sugarland, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean, and Gretchen Wilson.

Every Midnight Rodeo performance is a high-energy stage show that gets the crowd up and dancing. Organizers promise a fun evening for all who attend.

The evening is a community event and all are welcome.

Entry is a $5 donation, and proceeds will be used to support veterans programs and  activities.

Freedom Defenders Way is at the top of Tinkerfield Road, off Mile Hill Road.
