Charles Burton Randall, Jr, 60, of Hancock, Vt., formerly of Sandy Hook, died August 19. Mr Randall was born February 20, 1950, son of Rosemary and Charles Randall.
He was a graduate of Newtown High School. As a teenager, he delivered eggs in Newtown and took care of the family farm after his fatherâs death. He also ran his familyâs foundation company, until it was sold.
Mr Randall lived most of his life in Sandy Hook, and then moved to a small cabin in Vermont. He was a great outdoorsman, who loved horses and rodeos. He had many skills, including horseshoeing, welding, and skiing.
He leaves six sisters, Marjorie Randall of Clearwater, Fla., Kathy Clearwater of Seattle, Lorraine Randall of Mystic, Patricia Crasilli of Shelton, Connie Hallcok of Lacanto, Fla., and Christina Miles of Laconia, N.H.; and two brothers, James Randall of Laconia and Richard Randall of Danbury. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Lee; and his parents.
The family is grateful to their sister Christina for all of her help when Mr Randall was sick.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a future date. Cremation burial will be at Bayside Cemetery in Gilford, N.H., with his mother, at a later date, as well.
