Employment Transition Workshop At Library

EASTON — Easton Public Library will host a workshop, “Road Map to Re-Employment,” on Tuesday mornings at 10 am, beginning September 21. The series of workshops will be facilitated by Paska Nayden, a member of Transitioning Professionals of Fairfield County. Since 2002, this organization has helped thousands of professionals in employment transition.

Ms Nayden will touch on several topics of interest for those seeking employment, including job search and career change strategies. Guest lecturers will review resume writing and traditional interview techniques and address new employment trends, such as the phone interview. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn from their collective body of knowledge.

The series, which will run for 14 sessions, is free of charge. Individuals will be asked to commit to attending the majority of the three-hour sessions, dress in business attire, and share their experiences.

Sessions will be conducted in the conference room of the library, 691 Morehouse Road.

Workshop enrollment is limited to 22. To register call the library at 203-261-0134 or email Ms Nayden at  pnayden@tescoaches.com.
