Political Calculus Doesn't Add Up
Political Calculus Doesnât Add Up
To the Editor:
First, the very careful selection of the Fairfield Hills Authority by percentages of political affiliation. Now exactly the same procedure in the selection of the Town Charter [Revision] Committee.
When does foolishness end?
Shouldnât we just put the best people for these positions together despite the party name printed on the front of their jerseys?
Political balances of power can change every few years, but these decisions affect the future of Newtown, in your time and in your childrenâs.Â
Whatâs done is done, but letâs make sure it canât happen again.
