He was well known in his neighborhood for the lavish and crazily themed Halloween decorations he made annually. Mr Roth also made a bus stop named “The Little Rascals” for children to play in and for parents to sit in and wait for their children. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.

In addition to his wife of 17 years and his mother, survivors include a brother, Glenn Roth and his wife, Sharon, of West Haven; a sister, Bonnie Roth of Wallingford; a niece and a nephew. His father and a brother, Bruce, predeceased Mr Roth.

Funeral services and cremation will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to North Shore Animal League at animalleague.org, or to the charity of one’s choice.
