Bikers Ride To Kick Cancer

DANBURY — The American Cancer Society will hold its Kick-It Motorcycle Ride on Sunday, September 28, to fund the ongoing battle against cancer. This event is a chance to celebrate those who have survived cancer and to honor those for whom the answers did not come soon enough.

The Kick-It Ride begins with registration at Marcus Dairy, 5 Sugar Hollow Road, from 9:30 to 11 am. Staging begins at 11 and the ride begins at 11:30. Riders will proceed to Indian Wells State Park in Shelton on Route 110. There will be a picnic from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the park.

Registration for the event includes lunch, entertainment, awards, raffle, and short ceremony. Cancer survivors will receive a gift of a bike flag or scarf. Prizes will be awarded to the top ten fundraisers.
