Shirley Roman of 12 Pastorâs Walk, Newtown, announces the engagement of her daughter, Dawn Louise Roman, to Richard Allen Weide of Stratford.
The future bride is the daughter of the late Robert Roman, and the future bridegroom is the son of the late Harry (Jack) Weide and the late Pauline Weide, of Stratford and Bass River, Cape Cod, Mass.
Ms Roman graduated from Newtown High School. She received a bachelor of business administration degree in 1986, and a master of business administration degree in accounting in 2003, both from Western Connecticut State University, Danbury.
Mr Weide is an accountant at GE Druck, New Fairfield. He is a delivery coordinator at Stevenson Group in Stevenson.
A wedding date has yet to be announced.
