The Newtown Chamber of Commerce continues its free monthly networking events open to all local business professionals at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro on September 10 from 8 to 9 am. 

The guest speaker is Jeff Cowden of Yacko and Sons Tree Service. Mr Cowden’s presentation is titled “Simple Steps to Maintain Healthy Trees” and will include a workshop that actively improves guests’ knowledge of maintaining their trees and shrubs.

Mr Cowden has recently been involved in producing a timber stand management program for one of the Newtown Forest Association Preserves. His presentation is designed to help ensure that the most crucial habits to maintaining your foliage are followed.

Light refreshments will be served. This breakfast networking session is sponsored by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce and is held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month. Those interested in guest speaking may contact Tricia Farin at 203-426-9193.
