Gaglio Welcome to Princeton Special Section rss

PRINCETON, N.J. — Every state in the union has its own signature landmarks, monuments and special events that set it apart from the other 49.

Alaska has the Glacier National Park, Pennsylvania the Liberty Bell, South Dakota has Mount Rushmore and New Jersey, the Princeton Fall Antiques and Fine Arts Show!

Why categorize our show with national treasures? Because that is what we endeavor to present, for the Historical Society of Princeton and community at large.

For the past five months we have been putting together an event that has a variety of elements capable of attracting the attention of seasoned antiques collectors, homeowners looking for that special accent piece to anchor a room, decorators who know their clients’ desires, other antiques dealers shopping for inventory or just those eager to learn more about what they already own or have inherited. Whatever your need, it can be found at this show.

Last year our antiques show numbered 42 exhibitors between the airport hangar and tent pavilion. With last years’ success, our exhibitor “wait list” grew and grew to a point where maximizing our tent size became a necessity, now showcasing 55 exhibitors.

Coining the popular phrase, “Size Matters,” we would like to add “Diversity and Variety Matter” as show visitors have different tastes and budgets, which we intend to fulfill.

Offering true Jersey hospitality, the Historical Society of Princeton, will present a gala preview party on Friday, September 28, from 7 to 10 pm. The evening will rival any metropolitan social, with proceeds going toward educational projects, conservation of museum collections, property maintenance and restoration. Music, food, silent auctions, libations, and great antiques will be on the menu for the evening, so don’t miss joining us for this festive evening fundraiser and “First Look” at the exceptional objects gathered for your home, office, gift giving or investing.

Nothing speaks more eloquently of you than a warm environment accented with art and antiques.

The entire weekend is filled with special events rounding out the Princeton Fall Antiques and Fine Arts Show, from exciting appraisal clinics to entertaining guest speakers and gourmet café!

Let’s make “New Jersey’s Own Antiques Show, Your Own Antique Show!”

Looking forward to seeing you in Princeton.

Sincerely,

Frank Gaglio
