*My thanks again to John Voket, who filled in for me last week while I was out of the office on an unexpected sick leave.

News of a few shows came in after last week’s deadlines, and of course I wasn’t able to let you guys know about them.

GOV’T MULE will headline a show with Little Feat and Grace Potter & The Nocturnals at the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford on Friday, October 5. Tickets, which are already on sale, are all $30.

*After more than 20 years of hiatus, some of the founding members of VAN HALEN have announced they will hit the road for a national arena tour. This tour will be making a stop at Mohegan Sun to rock the Arena on Friday, October 5. The line-up includes guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, lead singer David Lee Roth and Eddie’s 16-year-old son Wolfgang in the place of founding bassist, Michael Anthony. The show will also feature special guest Ky-Mani Marley.

Tickets are $95.50, $125.50 and $190.50, and available from the venue’s box office or any TicketMaster outlet.

*FALL OUT BOY returns to Connecticut on Saturday, November 10. Tickets for that show are $30 whether you’re looking for a general admission floor or reserved seat. This show, which will have supporting sets by Gym Class Heroes and Cute Is What We Aim For, is scheduled for The Arena at Harbor Yard.

Until next week I’ll be seeing you... on the road.
