Wesley D. Peck

Former Newtown Resident

Wesley D. Peck, 88, of North Port, Fla., formerly of Newtown, died August 25. Mr Peck was born March 31, 1919, in Bridgeport, the son of John W. and Louise (Dubret) Peck.

In his younger years, Mr Peck was a caddy at the Newtown Country Club. He was a veteran of World War II, and worked as a cost analyst with EMR. His job transferred him to Sarasota, Fla.

Survivors include his daughter, Judy DeMersman of Englewood, Fla.; sons, Wesley D. Peck, and J. Peck of Long Beach, Calif., and Gary Peck of Interlachen, Fla.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His brothers, Richard Peck of New York, and Robert and Kenneth Peck of Connecticut, also survive Mr Peck.
