Wayne Ellis Wentworth

Wayne Ellis Wentworth, 65, of Sandy Hook, died September 1, at his home. He was born in Machias, Maine, November 22, 1946, son of Vera (Laslie) and Ellis Wentworth.

Mr Wentworth served in the United States Army from July 1965 to July 1968.

He leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Betty A. (Lyons) Wentworth; son Anthony Wentworth, and his wife Janet; his brother Dale Wentworth, and wife Margaret; his granddaughter Christina Clark, and husband Travis; and one great-grandson. He also leaves behind many special loved ones, friends, and relatives, and one special cat.

In keeping with Mr Wentworth’s wishes, there will only be a small gathering at his home, Saturday, September 8.

Arrangements are by Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
