To the Editor:

On Sunday, September 5, the Annual Newtown Reunion Concert was held headlined by the band Panacea with well-known hometown members, Leslie and Corky Ballard at Dickinson Park.

The event was free except for one request to bring a donation of non-perishable items in memory of Bridget Seaman who recently passed away and had for many years maintained a strong service link with F.A.I.T.H.’s mission.

The event was well-attended in spite of the weather and brought a wealth of donations to replenish the shelves of the pantry and to benefit those in need in our community. All of this was bolstered by the strong sponsorship of The Newtown Bee and Clearheart Construction.

We so appreciate their participation.

The Board of Directors of F.A.I.T.H. wish to truly thank those who so overwhelmingly contributed, chose to act as the event’s sponsors and Panacea for their entertainment, energy and connection to Newtown.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors

F.A.I.T.H Food Pantry of Newtown, Inc.
