To the Editor:

My grandson attends middle school in Niantic, Conn., and I worry about his safety. I decided to buy him a bullet proof backpack to give him some protection should he need it.

Maybe this would help relieve some of the parents minds if they bought one. I got mine from sportystoolshop.com, but you can also get them from Amazon.

In today’s world, we can never do enough to keep our children safe.
