To the Editor:

I welcome the news that Rance Thompson has acquiesced to the pressure from his friends and family and is throwing his hat into the ring this election season for Legislative Council. Rance has deep roots in here; he has lived in Newtown for more than 20 years and has owned and operated a business that serves Newtown residents for almost 30 years. We have been friends for almost 15 years and have done business together for about ten years.

I know personally the man who Rance Thompson is; he is a smart, high character professional whose talents can only add great value to our Legislative Council. I hope you join me in supporting Rance this election season.
