The FrameWorks Gallery (Koenig FrameWorks) is issuing a call for artist submissions for its upcoming show, “Small Works, Inside The Box.”

All mediums, including but not limited to acrylic, oil, watercolor, mixed media, pen and ink, charcoal, pastel, etchings, photography and monoprint will be accepted. Sculpture and three dimensional art will not be accepted.

The gallery will be turned into a grid of 12-inch squares. Each piece of artwork, including framing, cannot exceed a 12- by 12-inch square.  Detailed information and entry forms are available online at www.koenigframeworks.com.

Entries will be received October 5-21. Artists should note that there are only approximately 130 spaces available for the exhibition, which will fill quickly. Artists must be at least age 18 to put a work into the show.

“Small Works, Inside The Box” will open on Saturday, November 2, with a reception from 1 to 4 pm. It will remain on view through December 24.

Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.

The FrameWorks Gallery (Koenig FrameWorks) is a picture framing and art galley located at 97 South Main Street in Newtown.  While its core business is picture framing, FrameWorks maintains an inherent desire and passion to participate in the support, cultivation and promotion of the Arts.  Fine art and photography shows are routinely held in its gallery open to artists with varying degrees of experience and form.
