The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs, will feature “Beautifying Your Space With Today’s Floral Trends,” with guest Judy Grabarz, owner of Newtown Florist.

Scientific research has proven that flowers can improve one’s mood. Ms Grabarz will demonstrate quick and easy ways to group plants in areas of the home and office for interest and texture, as well as how to design flowers with current trends.

The program will be Wednesday, October 8, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook. Networking and dinner begin at 6 pm, followed by the speaker.

The program and dinner fee is $10 for members and $25 for non-members with a cash bar. Prospective attendees are reminded that the WWF gratefully accepts canned food, personal health and beauty items for FAITH Food Pantry.
