To the Editor:

Jordana Bloom knows how lucky we are to live in beautiful Newtown: she has lived all over the world, and 17 years ago, she chose Newtown as the place she wanted to settle and raise her family. Jordana is smart, organized, and thoughtful. She is also a very hard worker, willing to put in the time and energy required to understand the issues facing Newtown as they come before the Legislative Council.

Jordana is deeply committed to keeping Newtown a wonderful place to live for old and young alike. She knows that good schools are an important part of a community. She serves on the education subcommittee of the Legislative Council, ensuring that we use our resources efficiently so that our schools continue to be strong. She knows that we need to attract businesses to Newtown. She also knows that it’s important to preserve the natural beauty of Newtown. She has fought to ensure that these all remain strengths in Newtown, because she knows that these are what attract people to our community.

Newtown needs Jordana Bloom on our Legislative Council. You elected her two years ago; let’s make sure she is reelected this year.
