NHS Varsity Cheerleaders Car Wash, begins 8:30 am, Botsford Firehouse, Main Street South, cheerleaders will be washing cars and collecting old cellphones, donations will be used to help team get to Nationals in February.

SNAN Annual Bake Sale, 10 am-2 pm rain or shine, Lexington Gardens, 32 Church Hill Road, fresh homemade baked goods for people and pets, all proceeds to benefit Spay and Neuter Association of Newtown (SNAN).

NUMC Monthly Pasta Dinner, 5–7:30 pm, Newtown United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road, $8 adults, $7 seniors, $3.50 children, full spaghetti dinner with salad, desserts, and soft drinks/coffee raises funds for church, all welcome, coffee house/musical event follows; 426-9998.
