Thank you for the opportunity to endorse Tom Long for Legislative Council in District Three. He has an impressive list of boards and commissions he has served on in Newtown. They include his current membership on the Booth Library Board of Trustees, and in the past his membership on the Charter Revision Committee, Economic Development Commission, and Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers. I have known Tom in his professional life as senior vice president of communications and SCSEP [Senior Community Service Employment Program] operations for 16 years at The WorkPlace. He is a “roll up your sleeves and get to work” individual. I consider myself as blessed to have served on the Legislative Council, and it takes focused representatives like Tom to work with others for the good of the entire town. He is a consummate team player, and will be a devoted worker from day one. Please join me in casting your vote for Tom Long for Legislative Council, District Three on November 2.
