On Saturday, October 14, from 10 am until 4 pm, Newtown United Methodist Church will present its annual Fall Fair at Reed Intermediate School, 3 Trades Lane.

NUMC’s annual showcase of local artisans has something for everyone. This year organizers are thrilled to host 34 local artisans, all showcasing a variety of handiwork.

Shoppers will be invited to browse among one-of-a-kind items for everyone on their holiday shopping list, including fine jewelry, custom woodwork and pottery, home and holiday decor, textile arts, gourmet goodies, handmade greeting cards and papercrafts, unique fashion and accessories, and much more.

Enjoy delicious treats from the famous cookie and baked goods tables, and take part in a silent auction featuring a multitude of goods and gift cards from favorite local establishments.

When it’s time for a bite to eat, get lunch at the NUMC food truck.

The fair will also include TJ’s Designs, featuring locally made items to benefit Families United in Newtown, a local autism support group; and a variety of handmade items from the NUMC Quilting Guild.
