To the Editor:

I support Joan Plouffe for reelection to the Newtown Police Commission. Joan’s legal background adds value to the commission. She researches issues, brings new ideas forward, and does her homework. Joan’s goal is to support our police force and continue to keep Newtown a safe place for all the residents.

Joan is always willing to volunteer to help our wonderful community and move it forward. She was on the Charter Review Commission, Commission on Aging, Strategic Planning Committee for the school district, Democratic Town Committee, and other various volunteer positions. Joan has the best interest of the residents of Newtown, no matter what she is working on.

On November 5th, please vote for Joan Plouffe for Newtown Police Commission.
