To the Editor:

I am pleased to endorse Brian Budd for police commissioner. I have known Brian and his family for years and have had the privilege and joy of working alongside them in church ministries and various activities in the community. Brian’s outstanding work ethic, integrity, compassionate leadership, vision, and a desire to get things done is exactly what Newtown needs!

Brian has more than 27 years of experience and his skills and training include 12 years on the Newtown Police Commission, FBI Executive Leadership training, ethics and stress management, strategic planning, Penn State police budgeting training, just to name a few. He is also a Sacred Heart Police Leadership Institute graduate. These skills and Brian’s dedication are exactly what is best for Newtown so please join me in voting for Brian Budd for Police Commissioner on November 2!
