No Sharks Spotted: Senior Center Hosts First Billiards Tournament

Newtown Senior Center hosted its inaugural billiards tournament last week.
Ten players registered for the competition, and another 17 guests cheered them on during the October 18 event. A lunch of pizza and wings was served, and most seemed to enjoy the event, which ran just about 2½ hours.
Winners received gift certificates from Blue Colony Diner, which will begin hosting a new Breaking News Men’s Breakfast Club later this month.
