To The Editor:

I am writing to support AmyBeth Laroche as Newtown's state senate representative.

AmyBeth is an honest and determined individual who will fight for what is right for Newtown and the 28th district. She is a tireless worker and has clear goals as our state senator: restoring trust, cutting waste, and making Connecticut more affordable. As a parent, AmyBeth will advocate for Newtown families. With her experience in federal and other contract negotiations, she will do well for Newtown in Hartford.

After her opponent left Fairfield with all the Flock camera problems they are having, Rob Blanchard wants to represent Newtowners. He has been the governor’s guy for the last two terms. They are why we have to pay for all the hidden taxes that we never voted for, like the public benefit charge on our electric bills, or the parks tax on your motor vehicle registration. He is not somebody we need representing us forever, driving up the cost of living.

I want someone who is honest and will do her best to represent Newtown families. That is why I am voting for AmyBeth Laroche for my family’s state senate representative.
