Kenneth M. Menz, 67, of Newtown, died at Pope John Paul II Care Facility in Danbury, October 31. Born in New York City, July 21, 1945, he was the son of George B. and Geraldine Fara Menz.
He was a successful contracting manager having worked in the electrical field for many years.
Mr Menz was a proud US Army veteran during the Vietnam War.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he loved to sail, racecars, and iceboat racing, and loved to have a good time. Anyone who knew Mr Menz knows that he would want glasses lifted high and just to celebrate his life.
His beloved wife Kathleen Menz; three children, Suzanne, Kenny, and Russell; and his grandson, Aidan; a sister, Karla Ruth; and a brother, George Menz, survive Mr Menz.
âWe love you, Dad, and we will always know you will be watching over us.â
The family wishes to especially acknowledge the care and kindnesses of Irene, Jennifer, Darius, and Kathy.
Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Saturday, November 3, from 1 to 4 pm. Interment will be private.
