Linda Fuller Klucsik

Linda Fuller Klucsik, age 73, of Newtown, went to be with the Lord November 7, after a very long battle with metastatic breast cancer. Her family would like thank the Oncology Department at Danbury Hospital and the staff of River Glen Health Care Center for their skilled and compassionate care.

Linda was born January 31, 1948, in Danbury to parents George Fuller and Marvel Williams Fuller, and was a lifelong resident of the greater Danbury area. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1965, and was an employee at Eaton Corporation in Bethel for more than 30 years.

Linda married her husband Albert Klucsik of Budapest, Hungary, on September 6, 1975, at Newbury Congregational Church in Brookfield. They remained together until his death on July 5, 2020, also from complications from cancer. Linda was a longtime member of Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, and was previously a member of Christ Church in Brookfield, Newbury Congregational Church in Brookfield, and Beaver Brook Chapel in Danbury. Linda was devoted to her faith and her church family.

Linda is survived by her sister, Barbara Fuller; brother, George Fuller; several nieces and nephews; daughter, Kathleen Klucsik; granddaughters, Zoe and Ruby Bateman; and son-in-law Richard Bateman.

Linda was predeceased by her father, George Fuller, mother, Marvel Williams Fuller; and sister, Judy Fuller.

All of Linda’s family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe on Saturday, November 13, at 4 pm. Linda will be interred alongside her husband in a small ceremony at Newtown Village Cemetery on Monday, November 15, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org, or Samaritan’s Purse, samaritanspurse.org.

Funeral Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
