Newtown Interfaith Council is planning an Interfaith Thanksgiving Gathering for Thursday, November 16, at 7 pm.

This year's gathering will be at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street.

All are welcome, regardless of faith or spiritual beliefs, to join friends and neighbors for a time of prayer and song. There will be sacred texts and prayers to celebrate the season of gratitude.

There will also be an offering accepted of nonperishable food and monetary gifts for FAITH Food Pantry.
