Steven Thomas Coscia

Steven Thomas Coscia, 40, of Shelton, devoted husband of Michele Rogers Coscia, entered into rest on November 10. Steven was born in Bridgeport, on August 11, 1963, loving son of Frederck and Marylyn Looke Coscia of Killingworth.

Steven was a self-emplyed contractor, a member of the Pequonnock Yacht Club, and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He was the loving father of Michael Steven Coscia. He was the brother of Fredrick Vincent Coscia of Newtown, Thomas Patrick Coscia and his wife, Meghan, of Holyoke, Mass., Cathy Grimes and her husband, Charlie, of Bethel, Janice Florentine and her husband, Ric, of Madison, and Sherylyn Watson and her husband, Craig, of Redding. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Bertha Coscia of Guilford; and maternal grandmother, Alecia Laney of Benton, Maine. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Vincent Looke. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins; and nine nieces and nephews.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, from 3 to 7 pm, at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. On Saturday, November 15, his funeral will leave the funeral home at 10:15 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Shelton. Burial will be private and take place at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions in memory of Steven may be made to the Michael Steven Coscia Education Fund through the funeral home.
