Eugenia Pidala

Eugenia Pidala, 88, of Sandy Hook, passed away on Tuesday, November 23. Born in Norwalk, Conn., on July 6,1933, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Flora Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Monahan and John Pidala; her brother, James Smith; and her sister, Lois Dean.

Eugenia is survived by her sisters, Olive Lawlor of Wilton, Conn., and her husband John, and Eleanor Moisio of Southbury, Conn., and her husband Al; and also many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and -nieces.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an artist, loved to play games, and loved to travel in her motor home. She was a mother to all, a friend to many, and loved by all of us. We will all miss you.

Eugenia will be privately laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, in Norwalk, Conn. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
