Critical service providers and business leaders in the area will join host John Murphy to discuss the issues concerning the year 2000. This is the public’s chance to voice their own Y2K concerns and have their questions answered.

“HomeFront Live is one aspect of Charter Communications’ CommunityVision 21 we are very proud of. This is public affairs at its best,” said Charter Communications producer James Diaz.

“HomeFront Live is non-commercial, and it provides a fabulous opportunity for our subscribers to call and participate in live, interactive television. This program is the result of Charter Communications working together with the President’s Council on Year 2000 conversion, to bring local government and media together in addressing Y2K concerns on the local level.

“HomeFront Live is a perfect forum for reducing the community’s anxiety over thee ‘Y2K Bug.’ Viewers will be able to address even the simplest concern that may prevent them from enjoying this historic turn of the calendar,” added Greg Van Antwerp, senior access coordinator for Charter.

Phone numbers will be provided during the show and viewers will be invited to call in with questions, comments or opinions, live on the air.
