Resiliency Center To Offer December Days of Healing

The Resiliency Center of Newtown (RCN) will be holding two December Days of Healing.

On Friday and Saturday, December 13-14, the center, at 153 South Main Street, will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.

All are invited to stop in or spend a few hours with staff members. Space will be held for anyone who would like to request time.

On Friday, December 13, RCN will offer Brainspotting with Dr David Grand and Reiki with Tracy Mignone from Kindred Spirits.

“Auricular Acupuncture & Essential Oils for Calming the Spirit” with Laura Shahinian Kara will start at 2:45 Friday afternoon.

On Saturday, December 14, RCN will offer Brainspotting with Dr Grand, MNRI with Shannon Desilets, and chair massages by Heidi Skowronski.

These services are a limited offering, so appointments will be necessary.

The Resiliency Center of Newtown was founded in September 2013 as a nonprofit to provide confidential services, programs, and events to assist in the healing process for anyone in the greater Newtown community impacted by the events of 12/14.
