MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Currier Museum of Art will present an artist lecture, “Style, Technique and the Art of Frans Hals,” on Monday, March 19, from 6 to 7 pm at the Currier Art Center, 180 Pearl Street.

Christopher Atkins, visiting professor of art history from Northwestern University will speak about the bold “alla prima” painting techniques of Frans Hals, who revolutionized Dutch portrait painting during the Seventeenth Century.
