DIGITAL DIVING’ AT SVA FEBRUARY 27

NEW YORK CITY — School of Visual Arts will present a panel discussion, “Digital Diving: A Cut and Paste Update,” on Tuesday, February 27, at 7 pm in the amphitheater at 209 East 23rd Street, third floor.

The forum addresses digital culture and its impact on the visual arts and information technologies. Concepts to be explored are the uses and abuses of such technologies as they affect the acquisition and manipulation of knowledge.

BFA Fine Arts department chair Suzanne Anker will moderate the program. Panelists include executive director of Rhizome.org Lauren Cornell, digital artist and faculty member Joseph Nechvatal, MFA Computer Art department chair Bruce Wands and author McKenzie Wark.
