Stephen P. Roma, Jr, 67, of Newtown, died February 28, in Bethel Health Care Center. He was born in Bridgeport on August 15, 1939, a son of Stephen P. and Mary (Cizmazia) Roma.

Mr Roma was raised and educated in Newtown. From 1958 to 1962, he served in the US Navy. He was a graphic artist last employed by The Taunton Press in Newtown.

Mr Roma was member of VFW Post #308 in Newtown and American Legion Post #16 in Shelton.

Three sons, Michael Roma of Harwinton, and Patrick and Brian Roma, both of Torrington, survive Mr Roma. He is also  survived by five grandchildren, Tristan, Zachary, Joshua, Deegan, and Emma. He was predeceased by an aunt, Mary Ann Olson.

Funeral services were held March 5 from the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, and St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was private.
