To The Editor:

Early voting has begun in Newtown. I urge all Newtown citizens who are eligible to vote to be sure and cast their ballot in this very important midterm election.

I am also writing to support Michelle Embree Ku, the Democratic candidate for State Representative from Newtown’s 106th district. I have known Michelle for over fifteen years. She is a kind, caring, and a genuine person. She has served our town in various elected positions. Among them are as a member of the Board of Education, and later as the Chair of that committee; selectwoman, and currently as a member of the Legislative Council. In all of these positions, Michelle listens to the concerns of her constituents, does her homework, makes thoughtful decisions, and votes for the best interests of Newtown residents. She is also a dedicated wife and mother and is raising her children in the Newtown community and its public schools.

Michelle Embree Ku will take these sterling character traits, civic responsibility and leadership qualities to Hartford to best represent Newtown.

She is ready to lead and fight for the needs and important interests of Newtown.

I urge you to vote for Michelle Enbree Ku as our next State Representative from the 106th district of Newtown.

Sincerely,

Vincenza McNulty
