I am proud to endorse Rob Blanchard for Connecticut’s 28th State Senate District.

Rob and his wife, Samantha, are raising their young family here in Newtown. Like so many families, they experience firsthand the pressure created by rising housing, healthcare, childcare, utility, and grocery costs. These are not abstract policy issues for Rob — they affect his family and his neighbors every day.

Rob brings valuable experience from both state and local government. His service as Deputy Majority Leader of Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting required him to work through municipal budgets, education funding, and community priorities. His state government experience has also given him a clear understanding of how to turn local concerns into meaningful action in Hartford.

What stands out about Rob is his willingness to listen. He understands that Bethel, Easton, Fairfield, and Newtown are distinct communities, but that residents throughout the district share a desire for affordability, strong schools, safe neighborhoods, and responsive leadership.

Rob represents a new generation of leadership grounded in family, community, and public service. He has the experience to be effective and the personal commitment to remember whom he represents.

I enthusiastically encourage voters to support Rob Blanchard for State Senate on November 3.
