Theodora U. Pease

Theodora U. Pease, 91, of Southbury, died February 26 at St Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of Harrison Pease.

She was born December 28, 1912, in New York City, the daughter of the late David Montgomery and Adeline (Leonard) Updike. She was an avid tennis and sports fan. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles and bird watching.

Among her survivors are two sons, Harrison Pease, Jr, of Newtown, and Alan Pease of Rochester, N.Y.; a daughter, Susan Pease of Southbury; a twin sister, Marjorie Updike of Penn Yan, N.Y.; as well as four grandchildren, Jason, Jan, Justin, and Kathryn Pease, all of Newtown.

A Memorial Service for Mrs Pease was held Monday, March 1, at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere.
