The community is invited to join the families and supporters of newly elected or re elected town officials at a public swearing-in ceremony and reception planned for 11 am November 30 at the Newtown Community Center.
The Board of Finance recently completed a nearly year-long review and refinement of a Capital Improvement plan or CIP Policy and formally presented it to the Legislative Council for its segment of the final review and approval process November 6.
A large majority of the about 15 residents who spoke November 14 at a public hearing on a rental apartment complex proposed for 19 Main Street, voiced opposition to the plan.
The topic may be the same but the narratives every other week differ and I appreciate the installments. Rebuttals on factual content rather than focusing on form would improve the discourse.

For context...class of 2005 had 360 students, the number of graduating seniors seemed to cap out in the late 2000's in the low 400's.
When the author had to come back to correct the edition, maybe the series has gotten long enough to require its own index. I can re-run the calc's at the next one, which should be in about 10 days.
