Donations of new, unwrapped toys and gift cards sought for annual collection that forwards items to Operation ELF (Embracing Lonely Families, Connecticut National Guard program for military families; gift cards for food, gas, pharmacies, etc, as well as toys all accepted) and CT Children’s Medical Center (for infant through teenage patients during the holidays and beyond; nothing that poses safety hazards, with sharp edges or small, removable or easily breakable parts), Honan’s is one of 54 participating CFPA members in annual collection that continues to December 4, calling ahead to check on hours strongly suggested, 203-426-2751.
